Hello Rohankhanal - Thank you for your note and interest in US Federal contracting. Foreign companies can sell to the US Government. There will be limitations based on Trade Agreement Acts (TAA) and Buy American Act (BAA) and other regulations. There is unfortunately not a blanket answer to the question.

@@rohankhanal6367 You are asking for a blanket answer and there is none. I would encourage you to review BAA and TAA. There are various scenarios based on your country, the US Federal Department you are selling to, the country of origin for the products (if you sell products) etc. Also, contact your local Washington DC embassy and work with the Trade Counselor.

Hello. You should use your business address, especially if you will need a CAGE Code as that can only be issued with a physical location.

Hello and thank you for your comment. I would suggest searching in SAM.gov for solicitations related to this. USAID and DOD may have some food programs. If you are seeking more cafeteria style contracts within the agencies, I would also look on SAM.gov

@@jenniferschaus if you’re CORRUPT like most manufacturers that build new manufactured homes you get a kick back by NOT enforcing the FEDERAL MANUFACTURED CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS. When you file a complaint to the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Ms. Fudge, or to the Manufactured Housing Program Teresa Payne. They ignore your complaints even when you supply them with evidence of a noncompliance manufactured home. The agency WILL NOT return your calls after leaving a message. That’s a FACT

Michelle, thank you for your message and question. SOW or Statement Of Work is specific to the solicitation you are pursuing. So, find the RFI, RFQ, RFP etc and look for the SOW within that.

We would direct you to The FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) or even Google where this answer will appear in FAR Part 15: 1) An offeror, upon its written request received by the agency within 3 days after the date on which that offeror has received notification of contract award in accordance with 15.503(b), shall be debriefed and furnished the basis for the selection decision and contract award.

Hi and thank you for your comment and question. I would look at the POC info on the solicitation or acquisition forecast that you are pursuing. There is usually a Q/A period with a hard stop date (for solicitations). The POC info for forecast and solicitations will include name, email and phone for the person. If they don't answer then contact the VA OSDBU. *Do NOT contact them unless you have done your homework and have a specific opportunity that you can solve.

@jenniferschaus I use those options but it really doesn't work for visual and auditory learners, plus studies show that students who study in groups score 30% better on their exams.

This includes product, service, software, manufacturers, dealers, distributors, resellers, sole proprietorships, LLC, Inc's, private companies, publicly traded companies, foreign, domestic, for profit, non-profit, etc.

Hello and thank you for your note and watching our 600+ videos. Ask your prospects/ customers HOW they prefer to purchase. Conduct market research on the "dot gov" platforms. Let that information drive the contract vehicles you pursue. Also, you need to build relationships with the program managers who are overseeing the projects where your product/solution/services are being used. The answers are in the data and relationships.

Hello. Thank you for your note. If you are selling to the US FED GOV, we suggest using the federal data platforms, SAM,gov, FPDS.gov, USAspending,gov, etc and search for your NAICS, PSC, key words for the past 4-5 fiscal years. Review trends, set-asides, how contracts are procured for your solution. Use that data to drive your strategy, how you spend your time, effort and more.

Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for any technical issues, as they simply happen from time to time. Regarding market research (in 2023, present day), the basic searches can be conducted on SAM.gov Also, there are ample paid (government) data aggregators who pull all of the data from public sites into a MUCH EASIER to use platform. Prices vary for these services, but are much smoother than hopping around various government sites. We hope that helps.

Hello. Thank you for your question. Go to SAM.gov and search for the NAICS code for transportation and open solicitations (RFI, RFP, RFQ, etc). SAM.gov is the portal for FEDERAL GOVERNMENT Contracts.
